Exhibition : Portable Design: Inspired by Nature

Portable Design: Inspired by Nature is a project in IA 102 Visual Studies and Communication in Interior Architecture’s studio for 1st year student at faculty of Architecture and planning, Thammasat University.
In the first part, students were encouraged to explore the nature, finding inspirations from structures and systems of their interest and then studied, analyzed, and interpreted in various topics.In the second part, students were challenged to use their experimental design from the first part to solve situations of their choices, with the condition “portable design for one user”.
The final outcome of this project show more than 30 outstanding design solutions, which have potentials to develop into future products which could also inspired others to create their own experiment
