"Hope in the Dark"

“Hope in the Dark” is the latest solo exhibition by Anupong Chantorn, one of the most controversial artists in Thailand. The exhibition presents paintings and drawings with the concept of Buddhist belief in the context of Thai society. Anupong, named the youngest Artist of Distinction in Thai history, sarcastically portrays people’s misconception of the good old teachings as well as the real principle of honesty. Therefore, through the artworks it also lies the true teaching, the ethic that comes from faithful beliefs which in turn results from the good deeds and wrong doings of all human.
