"p(L)ay attention"

The “p(L)ay attention” art exhibition presents video installation art work inspired by the ordinary things of every day life (part of them was from London, England where the artist spent time doing his research and MFA.) The “Ordinary” things have become “Extraordinary” by the artist’s exercise of his intention in order to inspect the viewers’ self-inspection. Some hypnotic techniques are applied to help viewers experience some experiences and embrace themselves as part of the art work through their senses and feelings.

A contemporary art exhibition searching for new definitions

Concept
Bangkok Art and Culture Centre presents artworks from four Thai contemporary artists exploring doubts, raising questions, setting hypothesis both of inner self and outer surrounding. Pitiwat Somthai, Pasut Kranrattanasuit, Suparirk Kanitwaranun, and Noppadol Viroonchatapun together explore new meaning of ordinary with diverse artistic techniques resulting in sculpture, installation, film, and video art.

In the midst of changes, the exhibition encourages visitors to examine their feelings and emotions through artworks that stimulate insights, cultivate new creative ideas and outlooks that benefit their personal and social lives
